One Thursday morning, a server belonging to one of our Rehoboth, MA customers was inadvertently reformatted by the manufacture’s technician during a service call to replace a failing hard drive. Knowing the customer was one of our clients, the technician called CMIT Solutions of Central RI for help. Our team was able to immediately recover the data from the customer’s backup appliance. Following that, we set them up with a temporary virtual server that would allow them to keep working for the rest of the week. While they were closed over the weekend, our team went in and rebuilt the reformatted server from scratch. Much to the customer’s surprise and gratitude, the whole operation was back to normal by Monday.
