Junior IT Support Specialist

CMIT Solutions is a 17-year old IT Services Franchisor with nearly 150 Franchisee Territories in North America.We are an Austin-based company creating entrepreneurs (franchisees) who serve small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) by managing and protecting their IT infrastructure. The goal of this position is to provide critical IT support to our franchisees and corporate office to enable secure, effective, and efficient solutions.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in System Administration and Infrastructure Support
  • IT industry certifications (Microsoft certification; CompTia A+ and Network+; any Cisco certifications are specifically desired, but not required.)
  • Strong team player
  • Harbors a keen eye for business minded technical solutions
  • Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with virtual technology & environments including strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating environment and network infrastructure.
  • 2-4 year degree in relevant major or comparable work experience

  • Job Responsibilities

  • Frontline daily support for Franchisees and corporate office end users ; IT support ticket management
  • Support and maintain all products and platforms for franchisees ; provide support to new franchisees during business launch phase
  • Support and maintain all corporate office infrastructure, platforms, and equipment
  • Handle Franchisee and corporate office user provisioning; maintain all documentation and provisioning checklist for Franchisee and corporate office provisioning and IT support processes.
  • Train corporate office staff and find solutions to streamline processes
  • Fix/replace broken equipment ; document and update all IT infrastructure and systems in IT Manual
  • Assist Alliance Partner Manager in building and maintaining corporate office testing environment
  • Report to Franchise Support Director
