About the Owners:
Steve Gesing (Owner - CEO) and Wayne Demers (Owner - President) were both born and raised in Andover, MA in the Merrimack Valley. Steve and his wife, Anna, reside in Andover, MA, while Wayne and his wife, Nancy, reside in Exeter, NH with their children Sam and Elizabeth.
Steve and Wayne have a combined 50 plus years of business management and consulting experience. They have joined as partners and established CMIT Solutions of the Merrimack Valley.
Steve has served as a senior executive at major global Financial Services firms. He was an Executive Vice President and National Director of Smith Barney Consulting Group. In that role he was responsible for assisting Financial Advisors in the development of trusted client relationships. The client base with whom Steve consulted was quite diverse. However, many were self employed, successful business owners seeking a partner with whom to share the challenges they faced managing their business and financial matters.
Wayne took over as CEO of a small non-profit organization that had a deficit of $350,000 and transformed it into a thriving operation with revenues in excess of $5 million annually. Wayne also served, by default, as the “IT guy” for the organization. In this role he introduced the use of computers to the organization, designed networks for various sites, and introduced the paperless concept through the use of technology.
Steve has served on various non-profit boards in his community and Wayne founded and continues to run a youth lacrosse program in his community that has introduced hundreds of boys and girls to the game.
About CMIT Solutions of The Merrimack Valley:
CMIT Solutions of the Merrimack Valley provides small and medium sized businesses with strategies and services to overcome the challenges that today’s information technology presents. The goal with each client is to reduce risk, enhance productivity and increase revenue. This is accomplished by working as a trusted advisor and partner with clients offering suitable strategies and business solutions.
More often than not, small and medium sized businesses are forced to use a single individual computer shop or have drafted an employee to become the “computer guy”, which means she/he must drop what they are doing to deal with whatever technology crisis might arise.
Computer technology is constantly changing and becoming more complex. It is also becoming increasingly difficult to guard against more sophisticated viruses, worms, spyware, hackers, and phishing. CMIT Solutions of the Merrimack Valley can help reduce the risks that these problems present by providing you with a fully staffed national based and locally operated and certified IT department at a reasonable cost.

Today, Yahoo! Inc. confirmed that a file containing what appear to be usernames and passwords for 453,492 accounts had briefly been posted online. However, it appears that it's not just Yahoo...

Change isn’t always necessarily a bad thing, but if it has a detrimental effect on your ability to communicate, it’s hard to argue that it’s not. Especially when those changes are made without warning and without your permission.
So what is this change? Last week, Facebook summarily decided that its users should be using their @facebook.com address (did you even know you had an @...
