Our Mission and Goals

We are strongly committed to the success of our clients.  Our focus is on helping our clients use technology properly and effectively, to reduce their IT cost and to maintain their computers so they are stable and secure.  We help businesses keep pace with technology and meet the challenge of developing and maintaining a network that enhances business performance, helping them get the maximum value out of their technology investment.  We start each client relationship with a free assessment to understand your business and technology needs and to show them opportunities to save money and to reduce their liability.

We provide Princeton area businesses with a full IT staff at a fraction of the cost that they would pay a full time IT Manager.  Our team eliminates the hassle of dealing with the singular knowledge and abilities of a lone "computer guy".  Our philosophy is that of a computer doctor where we learn about the business’s frustrations, needs and business goals and recommend a treatment and ongoing regimen that is proactive and financially efficient for the client.  This is done through routine monitoring and maintenance of all the servers, desktops and networks that we are responsible for, ensuring that they are always secure, stable and maintained to the best standards possible.

We also consult with our fellow local businesses, helping with concerns over their valuable information, and thus assisting our clients with essential data backup and data recovery, which are often missing or incomplete in their computer network.

With the backing of a nationwide franchise, CMIT Solutions of Princeton is a local company with the resources and expertise to support the technology needs of your business.  The technical staff at CMIT is our best resource.  Our team delivers quality customer service through both technical expertise and effective communication.  We are CMIT Solutions of Princeton, YOUR dedicated technology team.

Gerren K. Lodovica

Gerren K. Lodovica, Account Executive – Gerren has been with CMIT since January 2009, coming from the coffee industry, where he was a sales representative for 5 years.  Gerren enjoyed his time in the coffee industry, and, although this seems like a large transition, both caffeine and computers are certainly vital for any business.  Gerren has excelled with computers since youth, and has received intensive training specifically designed for CMIT executives.  Personally, as an added challenge, Gerren is learning Spanish to further help the local community, and to aid in travel experiences in the future.  Gerren, as David, is a lifelong resident of the Mercer and Middlesex area.  Gerren’s very excited about provided even better service than what he was known for in the coffee industry to CMIT’s current and future clients.

Steps big and small are needed to prepare, local companies say

Everyone hopes they won’t have to use a disaster plan, but local small-business owners who have suffered a major loss urge people to develop one nonetheless.

Susan and Lawrence Crane of The Party Concierge are glad they did some disaster preparation. An Aug. 6 fire started in a neighboring business and consumed The Party Concierge's 40,000-square-foot space, including all of the props and merchandise of the 19-year-old event decor and design business. Their damages are estimated at $5 million.

Like so many business owners, Helen Feng left corporate culture to control her own destiny.

With a heavy information technology background, Feng selected a CMIT Solutions franchise. Since June 2009, she has been the sole Las Vegas-area franchisee. Soon, she may have some company.

CMIT Solutions aims to open four or five Las Vegas franchises by the end of 2013.

"It's an area where we believe there's a void in the market," said Sheri Vandermause, vice president of franchise development.

Technology Veteran John Pullen Offers Managed IT Services to Meet Growing Small Business Demand

AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 04/16/12 -- John Pullen knows that small and mid-sized businesses of all kinds -- law firms, coffee shops, doctor's offices -- depend on increasingly complex technology, and it's becoming harder for them to handle their own IT needs.

That's why the longtime technology executive recently opened CMIT Solutions of West Austin to offer managed IT services for small businesses.

To one degree or another, the vast majority of businesses today rely on technology to operate. For those that depend on it, unscheduled downtime of critical network components results in more than inconvenience and frustration. Downtime equals lost profits.

Many business owners don’t fully appreciate the costs associated with technical issues, so let’s see what an hour of server...

“Lost time is never found again.” – Benjamin Franklin

Often find yourself wondering where all the time goes? Much in the same way that keeping track of expenses reveals where your money goes, keeping tabs on your time can help you make more efficient use of it by identifying waste and opportunities for increased productivity.

But first, you need to a way to track it....

Your regularly scheduled QuickTip has been pre-empted for this important communique from Revolution Headquarters:

Ladies and gentlemen, for far too long, we’ve suffered the tyranny of oppressive manual backups and slow network connections. We’ve endured the pestilence of spam, viruses, and spyware, endangering our data and our sanity.

We’ve had enough, and WE DEMAND...

As an IT service provider to small and medium-sized businesses, we see a few common problems among new customers. Whether because of oversight, ignorance, neglect, or user error, the following five issues keep many businesses from achieving their full potential and, at worst, jeopardize a company’s very existence.

  1. Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) – A company’s...

"When CMIT and Armando came in, he explained to me what files to look for in data backups and he showed me that they are being backed up not only on our internal systems but on external systems.  We have a lot of internal backup systems, but if there is a flood or the hurricane which occurred here last tax season, a lot of accounting firms got washed out.  They lost a lot of their...
"I was very scared of having anything go wrong with my computers.  All my financial information for the business is on my computers, all the medical information of every patient I’ve ever taken care of is on the computers, and yes,  it concerned me a lot when I thought about something crashing, or if there is a virus, or if somebody hacks into my system, what liability am I taking on....
"If someone chooses CMIT for an outsourced IT company, they are really going to find someone who has a personal relationship with their business; that they try to understand the culture of their client’s business and do their work to that standard.  We are not just paying them to fix things, we are really working together to improve our business, and they were able to help us create a...
"[You can expect to] find an organization that is genuinely interested in becoming a business partner to a CFO’s business. I think they have very professional employees on staff who understand the issues of technology that must be addressed when configuring somebody’s network.
