Position Title: Technical Operations Manager
Position Type: administrative
Position Description:
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for efficient management and deployment of technical resources to CMIT Solutions' client base. The Manager reports directly to the President/CEO, but is expected to work independently with directional guidance from the President/CEO.
* The position is not location specific, although occasional onsite client visits will be required.
* Work hours are flexible. Manager is expected to be responsive to communications (via phone, email, SMS, etc) during normal business hours.
* Some hands on IT support work may be required at the beginning of assignment
* Assess viability of current technical team and develop or replace as required

Skills Required:
* Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with both technical staff and the technically challenged
* Strong IT team leadership with the ability to manage and influence team to achieve desired results
* Strong background in IT technical support - server, desktop, and networking
* Working knowledge of MS Windows - all variants of client and server
* Project Management
Skills Desired but not required
* Working knowledge of Mac operating systems
* Working knowledge of Exchange; Active Directory
