Jeffrey M. Connally - CMIT SolutionsPresident and Chief Executive Officer - Jeffrey M. Connally

In October 1998, Jeff co-founded UpLink Golf (GPS/Golf business) located in Austin, Texas, serving as its COO until May 2003. In May 2003 he founded Gener8Biz (Sales/Marketing Consultancy) located in Austin, Texas and has served as its President & CEO since May, 2003. In August 2003, he also began to teach sales and marketing in the Acton School (an Entrepreneurial MBA program) located in Austin, Texas. He joined CMIT’s Board of Directors in August 2005 and became its CEO in 2006.

Georgia Jones is the founder and original board member of CMIT Solutions. Over the years Georgia has continued to provide visionary leadership to the company.
Prior to leading this organization, she worked in the United States Senate in Washington D.C. A graduate of the University of Texas, Georgia is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Austin. She has been featured on "Positively Texas", CNNfn's "Business Unusual", and in Women's Day magazine.

Melanie Fricke - CMIT SolutionsVice President of Product and Process Strategy – Melanie Fricke

Melanie Fricke began her career as an IT support intern at CMIT Solutions, developing the company’s first knowledge base and CRM databases. After her graduation from the University of Texas she served in key technology roles with Prodigy/SBC, PricewaterhouseCoopers and most recently, Coremetrics. Her efforts there contributed to a 220% growth in revenue and she was personally responsible for bringing in over $6M in annualized revenue for the company. In 2002 she became an entrepreneur herself and co-founded a web development company, Lone Star Media, which continues to enjoy success today. Her strong background in sales, client service and information technology is a great addition to CMIT’s Home Office team.

Vice President of Operations - Tom Raymond

Mr. Raymond joined CMIT Solutions as Vice President of Operations in March 2009.  Starting in October 2005 he was an independent franchise consultant affiliated with FranChoice and then Sunbelt Business Brokers located in Driftwood, Texas. From September 2003 through October 2005, he served as President of Commercial Property Maintenance in Everett, Washington. From April 2001 to September 2003, he was Vice President of Franchise Development for WIN Home Inspection in Seattle, Washington. From July 1994 through April of 2001, Mr. Raymond was President of Midwest Deli, Inc. operating as an independent Area Developer for Schlotzsky’s Deli of Austin, Texas. In addition to his development business, he served as Manager of Schlotzsky’s Equipment Corporation and as Senior Franchise Business Consultant for Schlotzsky’s Inc. July 1994 through December 1996.

After reviewing their situation, CMIT set up a backup system that automatically copies their data to a remote location every night. They also monitor those backups carefully to make sure nothing goes wrong."Now we have a good, offsite backup of our data. If disaster strikes, I know we can access our data from anywhere. The biggest reason I use CMIT is for the peace of mind they give me. Their Marathon service automatically monitors our servers, the logs, and the health of our network 24/7/365 to make sure everything is running properly and to make sure lower-level maintenance on the network is getting done. Plus, there is a live person behind that service that alerts me to anything that isn't right, and gives me the option to fix it myself or have them fix it. In most cases, it's worth paying them to do this instead of pulling me away from a more critical project or task, but their flexibility is greatly appreciated. To Whom It May Concern: Before we hired CMIT Solutions, we were very frustrated with our POS system and our network. We had purchased new hardware and the QuickBooks Point-of-sale software, however had a hard time understanding how to use the software and setting up our network correctly. We were ready to toss the computer and go back to using pen and paper. CMIT Solutions of Plano has solidified our network to run properly, trained us in the QuickBooks POS and Financial software, helped us in obtaining a better rate on our merchant services to integrate with QuickBooks, replaced worn and unreliable hardware and suggested a remote backup system that is right for us and our company.
