Arsam (pronounced Arsham) has a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. After spending 5 years in AT&T Bell Labs which was one of the world’s premier scientific research facilities, he joined IBM Corporation in East Fishkill where he spent 20 years in many different capacities as researcher, data analysis engineer and project manager.
Arsam has lived thru the entire computer revolution that started with punching holes on cards/tapes and advanced rapidly to where we are today. The main goals have not changed over the years, data backup, data recovery, network security were of paramount importance back then, and they are still very important now.
