Jason Arabian, President of CMIT of Central RI, decided to invest in a CMIT franchise in January of 2005. Jason, who has degrees in Entrepreneurial Studies and Business put over a year of research into this decision. He was most impressed with CMIT and the leverage that CMIT's national alliances with leading technology companies such as Dell, Intuit and Microsoft could offer in providing great value and customized solutions to meet clients' specific needs.
In July of 2006, Jason seized the opportunity to merge CMIT Solutions of Central RI with a local firm, CCS Computing and Technologies (CCS), in Portsmouth. This venture has provided area businesses with an increased breadth of IT services and products. Since the merger, his staff has tripled in size and sales have grown exponentially. Jason has been honored 5 times by CMIT. In 2006, Jason received the Rising Star Award; in 2007, the Breakout Award; in 2008, the Franchise of the Year Award; in 2010, the Franchise of the Month Award for April and the Franchise of the Year Award again for 2011.
